Apple Special Event with IT Loyalty

Apple’s new products release is always a sensational event. The 2019 year is not an exception, and the whole world waited with bated breath for September 10th — the date of Apple’s official presentation.

ITOMYCH STUDIO team as true lovers of the world’s brand and new technologies couldn’t put aside such event. Besides, Apple presentation date symbolically coincided with our product’s ITLoyalty first anniversary. We take this fact as a reason to organize an incredibly interesting event for Kharkiv IT specialists — Apple Special Event.

Of course, we could watch broadcast at an office projector screen, however, to boost extreme emotions and impressions, we’ve chosen one from the “Planeta Kino” cinema halls. Well, would you agree that a better way to watch a live broadcast is to see it on a huge cinema screen sitting in cozy cinema chairs surrounded by friends and colleagues, wouldn’t you?

From the very first minutes of the broadcast, everyone was able to plunge into the world of Apple technology and feel the full range of emotions transmitted through the screen from the city of Cupertino. As always, Apple has surprised with their improvements which triggered an active discussion in the hall. The majority of the audience was impressed by the following updates:

  • Apple Watch 5: Innovative, always-on display, and even more features to monitor your health.
  • AppleTV+: is the all-new streaming service featuring original stories from leading filmmakers such as “See”, “The morning show”, “Dickinson”, etc.
  • iPad: featuring an enlarged up to 10.2 inches display, a full-size smart keyboard, and a pencil of the first Apple generation. Now you also can change the size of the onscreen keyboard to make iPad usage more comfortable.

The event culminates in the presentation of the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11Pro, and iPhone 11Pro Max. At this point, Apple has amazed the audience with outstanding updates.

  • Design: a monolithic rear panel made of flat glass with a square platform for camera lenses, a microphone, and photoflash; an updated main camera module, and a range of colors in which the devices are represented;
  • Processor: New Apple 13 Bionic with Core ML 3 system and 3rd generation Neural Engine;
  • Battery: works 4-5 hours longer within one charge, has an 18W power adapter included in the package, as well as the fast charging feature (50% of the battery in 30 minutes);
  • Camera: a wide-angle camera with ƒ/1.8 aperture, ƒ/2.4 aperture, and ultra-wide camera with 120° field of view and f/2.0 aperture. The new devices also support a new trend — slofie. It is a slow-motion shot which allows creating gifs.

At the closure of the Apple presentation, IT Loyalty team shared successes and achievements our project achieved within a year. The IT Loyalty app was developed precisely a year ago as a digital loyalty system for the Kharkiv IT Community. We’ve created the online platform assisting the Kharkiv IT Community. A mobile app helps IT specialists to live, work, and make progress in a more comfortable, beneficial, and interesting environment.

Initially, the IT Loyalty project included the website and a mobile iOS application. However, during the first year of existence, we also implemented an Android version of the application. Moreover, the website, in its turn, is replenished with useful content like reviews and life hacks from insiders, business owners, and food bloggers. Now the site also offers a calendar of IT-related events and a lot of useful featured guides to fun and active leisure.

The IT Loyalty mobile application — is a digital loyalty system, interactive map of Kharkiv, and an event calendar for IT specialists. The application allows transactions monitoring, tracking of gained bonuses, and receiving discounts and special offers in the app inbox.

Within the first year, IT Loyalty has attracted a great number of vendors that provide discounts and bonuses for users. Now we have cooperated with Antoshka, Planeta Kino, Yaposhka, Sweeter, Turkish Airlines, Kontramarka, Kiskis Nails, Tetra, Ontaxi, Hillel, etc. Also, the app audience has increased, and now there are 3000 registered users, among them 2000 of active app users. According to the first-year statistics, each user makes 8 special offer transactions per month average and additionally saves 5-25% off our vendors’ regular prices.

Totally, starting from the beginning of the current year, approximately UAH 150,000 was saved in favor of IT Loyalty users.

Among the invited guests the event hosted, there were vendor representatives from companies working with IT Loyalty. The guests were happy to share the yearly-results and impacts of our partnership. Thus, we learned that, in 2019, Yaposhka sold 4217 pizzas via IT Loyalty, as well as, Sweeter — 9345 cups of coffee, and InVino — 1251 bottles of alcohol. Aren’t the numbers impressive?!

Among speakers, there were HR experts who highlighted the importance of loyalty management in IT companies. They shared how their teams passionate IT Loyalty services and revealed how many colleagues used the app.

A pleasant surprise was the speech of a UIA representative who announced their plans to join the IT Loyalty Vendors list and provide app users with the discounted flights.

And Igor Tomych, CEO of ITOMYCH STUDIO, spoke about further plans and perspectives of IT Loyalty service development. Among the new features, on October 10, we will be waiting for the release of the updated functionality of the Calendar in the application. New features of the Callendar will allow HR-specialists to organize corporate events at companies, unite the team, and diversify the leisure of colleagues.

But what would be a Birthday without a party and goodies? At the end of the Apple Special Event, the ITOMYCH STUDIO team treated the guests with party cupcakes and champagne. All the guests were impressed, did not hide their vivid emotions, and genuinely smiled at the photographer’s camera.

And we, at ITOMYCH STUDIO, are pleased with the excellent results and the anniversary of IT Loyalty, as well as a successful event. Our team had received a portion of motivation for further achievements, replenished the reserves of positive emotions and impressions, communicated with friends, and just had a great time.
